Stathern Festival 2012
Welcome to the 8th Festival to be held in the beautiful Leicestershire village of Stathern.
The Festival is a major fund raising event for local community groups and projects. It is also a great way for local villages to get together and to have some fun at any of the 17 events planned over the week.
The Festival spans 10 days and will bring together 10 village and Vale organisations in its preparation.
This year sees favourite events, such as the popular Summer Ball, Party in the Park, 10K Race and our first ever Gymkhana which we hope will be the first of many.
To make use of our new rural cinema facilities, we are delighted to offer a free film showing for senior citizens and teenagers in the village. Details of each film will be available via the events section.
There is something for everyone, and we hope that with support from local residents and businesses, we can make this one of the best Festivals ever.
